This body of work is about being on the edge of new chapters in life. Before a window closes, opening up to adulthood or new and other moments of life. As I look at these images, I see this work as being about me, too — how I am growing into new chapters and modes of expression. Girlhood is a project that explores growing up and the beauty of exchange that happens across people — with a camera simply in between.
